[Solved] PFC MCP not working

Hope I'm in the right place for some advice as I am running FSX. I have recently had a new PC running Windows 11 Home. I have a Precision Flight Controls MCP (Hardware) in my Boeing 737 Cockpit. I have two Com Ports; one connected to PFC Jet Liner Console (Com Port 4) and working fine. Latest FSUIPC installed with Wide Server/Client and registered. My MCP is connected to Com Port 3. Build 544 (latest Build) installed from Project Magenta. Com Port 3 detailed/added to MCP ini file. All Folders Shared etc. I simply can not get my MCP to interact with FSX. On my main screen MCP is shown (2D) when starting program, and that is interacting with FSX as knobs, switches etc are all working. Any advice much appreciated. I have looked at logs, but very little information available.

OK, it is the PM MCP ini that requires knowing which Com Port is in use - not in FSUIPC ini.

If you are specifying the COM port for the PM MCP in the PM MCP ini file, then maybe make sure you are not also using the same COM port in the FSUIPC ini, as maybe this could block access to the COM port for the PM software. Only specify the COM port for the Jetliner console in the FSUIPC ini. Just a thought...

I'll give this a go with regard to the Log. Re. Com Ports - there is a specific entry in the MCP ini where the Com Port Number should be placed, but I will try as you suggest.

Yes - you mentioned this. I am just saying that if you are specifying the COM port in the MCP ini, don't also specify the same port in the FSUIPC ini.

How was the log file generated? i,e, where was the PM MCP software running, on the client or server?

The log shows many offset reads from WideClient, including reads of the PM offset area starting at 0x04E0, so it looks like something running on the client is using the PM offsets.

If the PM MCP software is running on the client, is the PFC MCP also attached to the client?

Did you hear anything from PM?
