[Solved] Fenix A320 Block 2 - How to assign PED DISC button from WingCtrl NWS L tiller in FSUIPC 7.5.7?

Hi,

I am using:

- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
- FSUIPC 7.5.7 (registered)
- Fenix A320 Block 2
- WingCtrl Airbus NWS L Tiller

The tiller axis is working correctly. It is assigned in MSFS to "Nose Wheel Steering Axis" and I can steer the aircraft normally while taxiing.

I would now like to assign the PED DISC button on the WingCtrl tiller.

I have confirmed that the Fenix PED DISC function in sim is working correctly:

- Without PED DISC, the rudder pedals provide the normal limited nosewheel steering (approximately ±6°), and the aircraft gently weaves left and right while taxiing.
- While holding the virtual PED DISC button in the cockpit, the rudder pedals no longer steer the nosewheel and the aircraft continues straight, while the tiller still provides nosewheel steering.

FSUIPC detects the WingCtrl button correctly as:

Joy = S
Button = 0

I searched the FenixSim preset tree included with FSUIPC but I could not find a PED DISC preset.

Could you please advise what is the recommended way to assign this button in FSUIPC 7.5.7?

Should it use:

- an Input Event,
- a Calculator Code,
- an LVAR/HVAR,
- or another method?

If possible, could you also provide the exact assignment required for the PED DISC button (press and release)?

Did you not see/try the following presets, under FenixSim->A320->Gear:

FNX320_Misc_Tiller_Pedal_Disconnect_Captain_Press

FNX320_Misc_Tiller_Pedal_Disconnect_FO_Press

Those presets toggle the following lvars:

L:S_FC_CAPT_TILLER_PEDAL_DISCONNECT

L:S_FC_FO_TILLER_PEDAL_DISCONNECT

Thank you very much. That worked perfectly.

The preset FNX320 Misc Tiller Pedal Disconnect Captain Press successfully toggles the PED DISC state in the Fenix. Pressing the WingCtrl button once disconnects rudder pedal steering and pressing it again reconnects it.
