Ok, I'll give it a shot. BTW, I did turn on the Buttons & Keys but they were probably buried in the massive amount of junk I submitted.

OK, I've cleaned up the log files and have four versions that I'll submit along with the .ini file.  I did find a ROTOR_BRAKE command being issued then I reversed the props in the VC but I wasn't able to translate that to a mapped key command.  I tried ROTOR_BRAKE with a parm of 53803 but that didn't work.  I'm also going to question PMDG because prop reversal is important.

Thanks for your help on this problem.

I tried ROTOR_BRAKE with a parm of 53803 but that didn't work.

But your logs and ini file show you assigned to ROTOR_BRAKE_ON (67482) and not ROTOR_BRAKE (66587):

16=PQ,11,C67482,53803 -{ROTOR_BRAKE_ON}-

Try switching to using the correct control - all PMDG custom controls use either the Rotor Brake control or a custom control number. There are also 2 FAQ entries on how to use PMDG custom controls - these are for the PMDG 737/738/777, but I think would also apply to the DC-6 (although I don't have this aircraft to check).

Btw, if you are attaching multiple log files, it would be helpful if you could let me know what each one is supposed to show...

I'm sorry for the extra files.  They represented several iterations of my testing.  Also I must of fat fingered the button assignment because I don't know why I set it for ROTOR_BRAKE_ON.  I think I have corrected all this and now am attaching a log file showing what I thought was the right definition and the .ini file which should show the button assignment.  As you can see from the log file, I did set my quad button 11 to ROTOR_BRAKE with the parm 53803.  I pressed it two or three times but nothing happened.  Then I moved the reverse lever several times in VC.   Button didn't work but lever did.  I've asked PMDG about this problem but have yet to get a straight answer from them.

Thanks for sticking with me on this problem.
