[Solved] FSUIPC7 from 2020 installed on a second PC

Hello,

I have MSFS2020 and FSUIPC7 (purchased in year 2020) installed and working on my primary PC.

I now installed MSFS2024 on a second PC.

I downloaded my FSUIPC7 purchase for MSFS2020 from Simmarket.
Installed it (FSUIPC version 7.5.7) on on the my second PC.

However I noticed the ini file does not find for example my [joy names]

Also does not find my MSFS2024 Controls profiles/setup:
Using the General assignments only {no aircraft specific profile

Should my FSUIPC7 purchase for MSFS2020 (primary PC) also work in MSFS2024 on my second PC?

Yes.

Your issue is that you have not registered your FSUIPC7 license on the 2nd PC. You need to either register you license at the end of the installation process, or copy across your FSUIPC7.key file from your FSUIPC7 installation on the first PC. Better to re-register you license, as this can fail if you don't have the required VC++ redistributables installed - in which case you nee to install them (detail in the Registration and installation guide, as well as the README.txt).
