PFC MCP not working
Hope I'm in the right place for some advice as I am running FSX. I have recently had a new PC running Windows 11 Home. I have a Precision Flight Controls MCP (Hardware) in my Boeing 737 Cockpit. I have two Com Ports; one connected to PFC Jet Liner Console (Com Port 4) and working fine. Latest FSUIPC installed with Wide Server/Client and registered. My MCP is connected to Com Port 3. Build 544 (latest Build) installed from Project Magenta. Com Port 3 detailed/added to MCP ini file. All Folders Shared etc. I simply can not get my MCP to interact with FSX. On my main screen MCP is shown (2D) when starting program, and that is interacting with FSX as knobs, switches etc are all working. Any advice much appreciated. I have looked at logs, but very little information available.
Have you installed the PFC com driver? If not, please download and install that - and read the documentation if you have any issues.
If it is installed, please show me / attach your FSUIPC4.log and PFCcom.log files.
Hi, I have PFCFSX.dll in my Modules Folder with FSUIPC. I believe that's the only driver for my JetConsole and the MCP. The program for the MCP comes from Project Magenta as you will know. Is there another Com Port Driver I require? Can you also tell me how to attach Log Files please and I'll do that tomorrow. Thanks

Well, I know very little to nothing about the Project Magenta MCP, and have no PFC devices.
Does the PFC driver see the MCP? Is it supposed to? If the MCP comes from PM, have you tried PM support? Also you can check the PFC DLL User guide for any info on using the PM MCP.
If you Jet Liner console is working fine, then this would indicate that the driver is installed correctly and working.
I am presently waiting for support from Project Magenta. I honestly am not sure if the PFC Driver is required for the MCP, or whether the Project Magenta program acts as the Driver threw a working Com Port. PM should be able to tell me that.
Today, I did notice something which might eventually help. In the MCP ini file I have always set speed to 110, and height to 10000. These values should just come up in 'hardware windows' on start up. Looking at the 2D MCP on my main screen on start up, these values flash up and then revert to other numbers. This would indicate that the ini file is being read for a few seconds, and then something blocks the connection.
I have a PC Chap coming to take a look I hope tomorrow so he may be able to help. In the mean time do you still want my Log files?
