[Solved] Double compound buttons

Is it possible to do double compound buttons, were a button is affected by the state of two other buttons? For example, I have rotary encoders I use for AP with a compound button to switch between fast and slow dec removed link I would like to these same encoders for nav/com using the compound button two switch between whole/frac, but I need a second compound button to switch between AP and nav/com, I tried something like this, where J16 and J17 were the two compound buttons, but it didn't work.

18=CP(-J17)(-J,16)J,0,C65893,0 -{AP_ALT_VAR_DEC}-

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, that should be fine...as it says in the Advanced User guide:

You can have one condition, as shown above, or two, or more (up to 16 in fact), like this:
n=CP(+j2,b2)(+j3,b3)j,b, ....

So you can have up to 16 compound button conditions.

If its not working as expected, please show me / attach your FSUIPC7.ini and FSUIPC7.log files, the latter with logging for Buttons & Keys activated and showing your issue.

Note I will be unavailable tomorrow, but will take a look at your files on Monday.

I was missing the first comma, it's working now. Thank you for the example.

I have 4 rotary encoders with double compounds, it get's kind of confusing after awhile. 😀
