Unable to install FSUIPC V 7.57

Hi,

When installing v 7.57 in MSFS2024 an error message appears. The PC is with Win11, 9800X3D, 64 gB ram.

Oddly enough it is possible to install v 7.56 afterwards.

Suggestions?

Are you extracting the installer from the zip file before running it? You can run the installer from within the zip file which can cause strange errors.

Otherwise, check your anti-virus software, and maybe check you have enough disk space, or try installing to a different location - could it be due to permissions on the location selected? Also check the windows event viewer to see if you get any events related to this problem, which may help determine the reason for this error.

Maybe also try downloading the installer again. i can assure you that there are no issues with the installer, so this is definitely caused by something on your side.
