[Solved] Pan view in FS2024

Hi,

I have FSUIPC 7 registered for FS2024.

1) Is there is a way to get the list of all FS controls (the ones in the FSUIPC dropdown menu) in a txt file for easy reference and search

2) I would like to pan around with the hat of the joystick. In FS2024 I deleted all assignments and in the FSUIPC dropdown menu I select Pan Up, Down, Left, Right... But no joy. Any idea?

Thanks.

There is a text file available in your FSUIPC7 Documents folder called Controls List for MSFS Build xxx.txt (where xxx is the build number). This file is generated automatically when FSUIPC7 connects to MSFS, and contains the available FS controls in both control number order as well as in alphabetical order.

The standard Pan / view /camera controls do not work in MSFS. See the included README.txt - here is the relevant section:

Limitations
===========
Quite a few events/controls that are available in MSFS are not available (or are provided but have
no effect/don't work) for use by 3rd party applications via the provided SDKs. These include:
- events for view control
- events for slew control
- events for weather

For view and slew control, you can assign in MSFS or assign in FSUIPC7 but to the default key assignments
used for view/slew control in MSFS.

So for your hat switch, assign to the default key controls (on repeat) which pan the view, which are the up/down/left/right arrow keys, or lshift+j, lshift+k, lshidt+l & lshift+i

NB. You posted this same support topic twice - I have deleted the other one.

John

The first 3 posts or so are moderated for new users, to prevent spam.

Sure I understand. I would also like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for taking over Pete's work! And having a dedicated forum is a good decision.
