Hi there, I have a small utility that makes light passive use of a few FSUIPC offsets - I'm looking to understand licensing obligations should I decide to sell this product.

Kind Regards,
Devon.

There are no licensing obligations - no issue selling products that use the FSUIPC SDK and nothing to pay.
Previously, many years ago (before my time!), we did license 3rd party payware, but this became too difficult to manage. I may ask for a (free) license, and have been planning (for a long time now..) to add a donation/buy-me-a-beer button so that 3rd party devs can (optionally) contribute to FSUIPC development, but still haven't gotten around to this!

Regards,

John

Hi John - thanks for the quick reply - please do get in touch if you ever implement that and I can embed a link to the donation page.

If you are selling your product, I would not expect a donation from the users who purchased your software. The donation would be a one-off donation from you, as the developer!

Ah yes of course!!  I will certainly honour that if the magic happens!  In the meantime, FSUIPC and the link to the website is mentioned in the third-party notice file that sits in the install package root and the install root itself.
