Attached  (I pressed and released the ALERT button in VC several times)

That log extract shows key presses and no input events and so is useless... Did you have logging for Input Events activated? As I keep saying, I need to see what input events are being sent when you press (and release) the alert switch in the VC.

Did you try sending the preset on repeat when pressed?

@SMN204 Why the empty post? I have deleted it.

Also, that video you posted shows you sending the release code when the Alert switch is already released. Would have been more useful to see the push. And I still need to see a log of the input events used when this is working, i.e. when done in the virtual cockpit.

Yes, I have logging for Input Events activated in FSUIPC

I also tried this
And I also tried “Open Console” in FSUIPC-Log—nothing happened when I pressed the switch in VC.

Here's what's in the log

"..... 597250 EV_KEYDOWN received: 0x26 (&)

597250 KEYDOWN: VK=38, Waiting=0, Repeat=N, lParam=0 (0x0), Shifts=0

597250 .. KeyDown received from FS but not programmed

597360 EV_KEYUP received: 0x26 (&)

597360 KEYUP: VK=38, Waiting=0, Shifts=0, lparam=0 (0x0)

597360 .. KeyUp received from FS but not programmed

598329 EV_KEYDOWN received: 0x25 (%)

598329 KEYDOWN: VK=37, Waiting=0, Repeat=N, lParam=0 (0x0), Shifts=0

598329 .. KeyDown received from FS but not programmed

598391 EV_KEYUP received: 0x25 (%)

598391 KEYUP: VK=37, Waiting=0, Shifts=0, lparam=0 (0x0)

598391 .. KeyUp received from FS but not programmed ..."

As I mentioned above, all four codes you provided behave exactly the same visually — the button just quickly flicks back and forth, and that’s it!

Here's a video showing a preset marked “repeat when pressed”

Yeah, I did that on purpose, since my previous post was marked as answered by you... That's probably why I didn't get a reply for two days 🙂 Sorry...

That is very strange, as would indicate that the button is not using Input Events.

Again, those are just key presses - the '&' amd '%' keys - were you pressing these?

Could you show me / attach a full FSUIPC7.log file please. Please set logging for Input Events and Buttons & Keys only, and list available Input Events once the aircraft is loaded and ready to fly. Then use your assigned button that sends the Input Event. After that, manually activate the Alert in the VC. Please also exit FSUIPC before attaching the log file. Also attach your FSUIPC7.ini file.
