Another thought...Maybe the logitech software auto-started after you rebooted? If this is the case, just exit the software so its not running.

Following someone’s recommendation here on the forum, I had already uninstalled the x56 software.

And the drivers? It is the drivers you need to uninstall and delete. You can keep the other software / apps installed, but just don't have them running when using FSUIPC.

Note that I don't have the X-56 - I have the X-55, the older model, but they are pretty similar.
