This are the (new) Support Forums for FSUIPC and related products.

These forums replace the old support forums which have been running for 20+ years. The old forums contain a wealth of information on all FSUIPC products, and are still available (until the end of the year) for read-only here.

At the moment these new forums are quite empty – I will be updating the FAQ section and copying across the User Contributions from the old forums in the next few months.

Please note that you will need to Register and Login to post for support, and also to download attachments. You can view these forums without registering.

Support is also available via Discord. Please use the following invite link to join the FSUIPC Discord server:

After updating to version 7.5.5, the software does not load my presets that are in the .ini file

Presets are stored in the file events.txt (MobiFlight presets, installed by FSUIPC7) and myevents.txt (for your own personal presets). Your ini file holds your assignments + other FSUIPC configuration parameters.

Please explain what your actual issue is in more detail, and attach relevant files (your FSUIPC7.log and FSUIPC7.ini files).

@fsuipc Sorry, maybe I expressed myself badly. I never touched events.txt. I just make my settings in ini. Below are the attached files

Sorry, just saw your files. Can you activate logging for Buttons & Keys and attach another file showing you pressing an assigned button/switch to an assignment that isn’t working.

Also, in your ini, you should use substrings for your profile aircraft names, e.g. change

[Profile.Cessna 172]
1=Cessna Skyhawk Asobo
2=Cessna Skyhawk G1000 Asobo
3=Cessna Skyhawk Floaters Asobo

to

[Profile.Cessna 172]
1=Cessna Skyhawk

You should do this for all your aircraft names in the profile sections. You should get into the habit of editing the aircraft name when you create or add an aircraft to a profile.

Do you mean that the assignments on your X-56 throttle aren’t working? There is an issue in the registry. To correct fort this, change this section in your FSUIPC7.ini:

[JoyNames]
A=Saitek Pro Flight X-56 Rhino Throttle
A.GUID={1A5E6F20-75CC-11F0-8001-444553540000}
B=X56 H.O.T.A.S. Stick
