OK just did the following;

1. changed text file line to the new RUDDERINPUT as indicated

2. Reloaded Presets

3. no rudder input

4. check the LVar List for the L:RUDDERINPUT and it isn't found in the list.

5. turned on the WAPI Debug but not sure what I am supposed to find and where with this.

6. Attempted Mouse manipulation of the Rudders, SWS must not have this ability No Joy.

Can you please show me / attach your FSUIPC7.log and FSUIPC7.ini files, and have logging for WAPI->Debug set, as well as listing both the lvars and the input events in the log (the files will be in your FSUIPC7 installation folder).

urned on the WAPI Debug but not sure what I am supposed to find and where with this.

All logging goes to the FSUIPC7.log file...

Attempted Mouse manipulation of the Rudders, SWS must not have this ability No Joy.

Check for any (default) keyboard assignments, and if non then maybe add some. You need to be able to move the rudder somehow so we can see what is logged when it moves...

4. check the LVar List for the L:RUDDERINPUT and it isn't found in the list.

Why do you say this - your log indicates this is available:

327890 [INFO]: ID=1062 RUDDERINPUT = 0.000000

There also looks to be an input event (UNKNOWN_HANDLING_RUDDER), but lets leave that for now...

Can you try using that lvar please (also try setting it manually to see if it actually works, as advised earlier) - your log shows you are still trying to use the scoped lvar:

1759921 [DEBUG]: Calcultor Code Client Data Area updated [requestID=1476]: ' 64 163.84 / (>L:1:RUDDERINPUT)'

You can also add logging for this lvar by adding the following to your FSUIPC7.ini file:

[LvarsLogged.Kodiak 100]
DisplayToWindow=Fixed
;ForegroundColour=xFFF
;BackgroundColour=x000
1=RUDDERINPUT

Also, you should change:

[Profile.Kodiak 100]
1=Kodiak 100 Combi, Cargopod

to

[Profile.Kodiak 100]
1=Kodiak 100

i.e. use a substring of the aircraft name to catch all variants.

Finishing for the day now...

John

Thank you John but you are losing me quickly. Where do I find, or input an LVar in FSUIPC?? How do I assign it to my axis? I only grasp a tenth of what you are saying here. In FSUIPC I list Lvars and I do NOT see the noted item and have no idea how to attach it to my rudder axis.
