Weird Autosave Behaviour with SU5 PMDG 777 MSFS 2024, before it used to pause the sim for 3 seconds now it freezes the aircraft and the displays/button, to fix it I have to turn autosave off then back on. I need it back to when it used to the pause the sim as that fixed my CTD issues, it was awesome pls fixxx tisssssssssssss

Does this only occur with the PMDG 777?

To save a flight, FSUIPC just calls the save-flight function provided by the SimConnect SDK. If there are issues with this, it will be an issue either for Asobo or PMDG (if this is an issue with PMDG aircraft only).

But I have not looked at Su5 yet. I will check the AutoSave functionality in this over the next few days and see how if I can replicate.

Also please make sure that you have disabled anti-virus scanning of your auto-save files and folders. This can drastically improve the speed and impact of saving a flight. There is an article on how to do this in the FAQ section - it is written for P3D and FSX, but will be the same for MSFS2020/2024, just the save-flight folders will be differenct. I have looked into this and can confirm that the sim freezes for 30-40 seconds after each autosave flight is saved, but only for the PMDG 777 (although I only tested with 3 aircraft). This will be an issue for PMDG - I will contact them about this.
