[Solved] Saving a situation with pmdg 738 in msfs 2024

It certainly shouldn't save continuously. Can you check that you have not assigned the key to repeat (you need to check for No Repeats on key assignments otherwise it will repeat). Can you also set a custom logging value (Log->Custom) of x4 to log auto-save activity, also set logging for Buttons & Keys and show me / attach an FSUIPC7.log file showing your issue, and also attach your FSUIP7.ini file.

There is no difference in saving flights/plans between MSFS2020 and MSFS2024, so I am not sure why you are getting this issue in MSFS2024 only.

Freezes when FSUIPC7 is saving a flight can be reduced by tuning your antivirus. The problem is that antivirus software can scan the generated files which can be quite large. To prevent this, you need to exclude the auto-save folders from ant-virus activity. Please see the following FAQ entry (although this is for FSX and P3D, it applies to MSFS - just make sure you use the correct locations):

Well, your log file shows repeated N key presses being received, and each one triggers an auto-save. Can you please set No Repeats and try again, and show me the same files again with this set.

It could also be that that your 'N' key is sticking and generating lots of repeats. If you look at your 's' keypress:

which shows an initial key press, hundreds of repeated key presses, and then the key release 6 seconds after the press.

So the key is repeating, and you need to permanently use 'No repeats' for this assignment, so please do that.

Also try and determine why the key release is 6 seconds after the press - were you holding the key down?
Or is the key a bit sticky? Try cleaning it, assigning to a compound key press (e.g. shift + N), or maybe to another key.

Not even Windows Defender?

Hi John, yes I use defender. I added files and folder to exclusion and set 'No Repeats' when configuring FSUIPC keys. I show you what I did in the files attached. But it is still repeating the auto save and creating infinite FLT files.
