This are the (new) Support Forums for FSUIPC and related products.

These forums replace the old support forums which have been running for 20+ years. The old forums contain a wealth of information on all FSUIPC products, and are still available (until the end of the year) for read-only here.

At the moment these new forums are quite empty – I will be updating the FAQ section and copying across the User Contributions from the old forums in the next few months.

Please note that you will need to Register and Login to post for support, and also to download attachments. You can view these forums without registering.

Support is also available via Discord. Please use the following invite link to join the FSUIPC Discord server:

I wondered if anyone knows how or if FSUIPC7 can control RealSimGear modules like I have done with GoFlight modules the buttons etc are not recognised by FSUIPC7 like a joystick button is. I am having problem with their modules controlling the sim avionics in particular the G530/430 any help will be appreciated

FSUIPC7 will only recognise joystick type HID devices. If FSUIPC7 doesn’t see the buttons, it is probably nit such a device and you would generally need a driver for the device, usually provided by the vendor.
You could check to see if it is seen as a com device via the lua interface, and if so you can use lua scripts to control the device. Start off by trying the provided HidDemo.lua script – take a look at that and update it for your device and try that (it is one of the example lua scripts provided).

Thanks for your quick reply John I was hoping that there was a simpler solution ( simpler for my knowledge) like with the GoFlight modules there are numerous problems with RealSimGear interface that they are not prepared to look at, was hoping to connect through FSUIPC7

We provide the drivers for GoFlight modules, as Pete (the original author of FSUIPC) had an agreement with GoFlight to develop these drivers. We do not provide such drivers for RealSimGear.

There are some support questions on using FSUIPC with RealSimGear devices inthe old forums – maybe check these out to see if they help, e.g.

But certainly try the lua, If it works, it will convert the buttons on your device to virtual buttons which can be assigned in FSUIPC the same as standard buttons, and it should also allow you to assign axes as well.
