This are the (new) Support Forums for FSUIPC and related products.
These forums replace the old support forums which have been running for 20+ years. The old forums contain a wealth of information on all FSUIPC products, and are still available (until the end of the year) for read-only here.
At the moment these new forums are quite empty – I will be updating the FAQ section and copying across the User Contributions from the old forums in the next few months.

[Solved] Offsets for new PMDG 737-800
Hi John, I have been using FSUIPC the offsets for PMDG’s 737 for quite a while with Pilots Deck to get various values, quite a bit of them. With newest MSFS2024 737 version, fsuipc appears to be reading the offsets, but they don’t seem to have any values in them. Is anyone else having this issue?
This is all enabled as usual:
[SDK]
EnableDataBroadcast=1
EnableCDUBroadcast.0=1
EnableCDUBroadcast.1=1
Log have many entries as follows:
390750 READ0[7328] 64D7, 1 bytes: 00 .
390750 READ0[7328] 64C9, 4 bytes: 00 00 00 00 ….
390750 READ0[7328] 64BC, 4 bytes: 00 00 00 00 ….
390750 READ0[7328] 64CD, 4 bytes: 00 00 00 00 ….
390750 READ0[7328] 64C0, 4 bytes: 00 00 00 00 ….
390750 READ0[7328] 64D0, 4 bytes: 00 00 00 00 ….
390750 READ0[7328] 64C4, 4 bytes: 00 00 00 00 ….
As I said in the other recent post about the PMDG 737 for MSFS2024, I cannot see this aircraft in PMDG OC3 (or OC2), and the only PMDG aircraft that I see compatible with MSFS2024 is the 777-300er. Can you please explain how you installed this aircraft, and is it a free upgrade if you have the MSFS2020 version or a paid upgrade? Either way, it should appear in OC3, shouldn’t it? If not, how do you download/install this for MSFS2024?

Where are those coming from? Do you have logging for IPC Reads active? Always better to attach full log files than post extracts.
If the offsets aren’t populated, I suspect it is because the aircraft name, as seen by FSUIPC7, does not contain the string ‘pmdg’, and so the PMDG-specific threads that handle the offset population are not started. Could you let me know what FSUIPC7 sees as the aircraft name, from you FSUIPC7.log file. It will be logged as Aircraft=”….”
Better still, please load the aircraft with the attached FSUIPC7 exe (download and use this to replace your current one), let everything start (i.e. get ready to fly), then exit FSUIPC7 and show me / attach your FSUIPC7.log file.
John
PMDG just released the 737-800 for 2024 yesterday. And yes, I installed it through OC3. Previously I had used this same config on 2020, and also 2024 (unofficial copy to Community). Most of the SDK “appears” to be the same as my input events seem fine, but I have not idea on the offsets and getting the data back. Attached is the log file, and I just used the exe you provided.
You still have logging for IPC Reads active. Please turn that off for any further logs. It is just noise.
You log file shows the 737 was originally detected and the PMDG 737 offset threads were started:
93562 Requesting user aircraft data…
93562 Checking PMDG737: szName=’SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800\presets\pmdg\PMDG 737-800 SSW TC\config\aircraft.CFG’, airFileFolder=’config’, fThis3=1, fPMDG3now=0
93562 PMDG 737 offsets enabled
93641 Aircraft loaded: running normally now …
But shortly afterwards the threads were stopped:
94062 [INFO]: Connected to MSFS
94156 * PMDG737Thread finished **
94172 PMDG 737 Simconnect connection closed.
94203 Aircraft=”737-800 PAX SSW TC”
94281 ——————– Starting everything now ———————-
94281 Lvars received: 2682 L:vars & 0 H:vars now available
94281 Checking PMDG737: szName='(null)’, airFileFolder=’config’, fThis3=0, fPMDG3now=0
Something strange is going on with the aircraft and air folder names. I will take a look over the weekend (time permitting) and get back to you.
John
