[Solved] Not registered although registration is validated at installation

I am using FSUIPC for a long time. I bought my registration for FSUIPC7 on 2021-09-24 on Simmarket. I Installed FS2024 and installed also the new version of FSUIPC7, v7.5.6. At the end of the installation I see the registration window with my name, my email adress and my registration code. After clicking for registration I see the message: FSUIPC Registrationdetails have been validated. But, as I start FSUIPC7 .5.6 I see that the program is not registred and therefore the tab Assignments is missing in FSUIPC. In the FSUIPC log file I see "User name=" "and User Addr=" ". Clearly signing that internally it does not regognize my name and address, although I saw it in the registration window. In The FSUIPC7.ini I don't see any sign of my name, emailadress and registration code. Can you help solve this problem. I am not able now to change assignments of my yoke.

I did put the installer in a temporary folder. FSUIPC7 is running from within its own FSUIPC7. I did install the program yesterday as adminstrator.

You installed in the folder D:\FSUIPC7, but you are running FSUIPC7 from the Desktop:

Reading options from "C:\Users\FlightSim\Desktop\FSUIPC7.ini"

I think you must have dragged the FSUIPC7.exe from the installation folder to your Desktop, thus creating a new copy. Please delete this.

You MUST run FSUIPC7 from its installation folder. If you want a desktop icon to start FSUIPC7 manually (although it is far better to use auto-start), then you need to create a shortcut and then drag this to the Desktop. To do this, right-click the FSUIPC7.exe (in your installation folder) and then select Create shortcut. You can then drag the shortcut (not the exe!) to the Desktop and rename it.

I did install the program yesterday as adminstrator.

You should run the installer with standard privileges. It will request the privileges needed. To be safe, please re-install with standard privileges.

I did copy, as you thought, FSUIPC7 to my desktop, thinking it was a shortcut. After removing FSUIPC7 from the desktop I have an normal functioning FSUIPC7 and can assign keys to buttons. I got my mojo working!!!

Just downloaded FSCUIP6 for my P3Dv4 reinstall $30. ALL old FUSCUIP3 files have been REMOVED. My paid VERSION now when installing to REGISTER asks me for two key file. The only key file that i have from my PAID download is Key: <removed>. To register I need Two keys (FSUIPC and WIDE FX). I don't understand why my FSCUIP in my p3dv4 shows NO control axis and button inputs! WHY? Your program confuses the crap out of me with installations. Getting very frustrated here about to file a complaint with PAYPAL.
