This are the (new) Support Forums for FSUIPC and related products.

These forums replace the old support forums which have been running for 20+ years. The old forums contain a wealth of information on all FSUIPC products, and are still available (until the end of the year) for read-only here.

At the moment these new forums are quite empty – I will be updating the FAQ section and copying across the User Contributions from the old forums in the next few months.

Hi John, just to let you know that none of the button presets work any longer with this new aircraft, one example of many hat I have configured:

[Buttons.PMDG 737]
1=PE,10,CPPMDG_B737-7_AUTOTHRUST_TOGA_L_BTN,0 -{Preset Control}-

Would this be that mobiflight will have to update their module?

Thanks

I only see the PMDG 737 for MSFS2020. I only see the 777 (in OC3) for MSFS2024.
Is this a free upgrade for 737/MSFS2020 owners or a paid one? Either way, I can’t see an MSFS2024 version in OC3, so cannot install this aircraft to check.

The preset PMDG_B737-7_AUTOTHRUST_TOGA_L_BTN is for the MSFS2020 version. As such, it may not work in MSFS2024. That preset uses the calculator code: 68401 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) i.e. it is using the following custom control with a left mouse click (the 01 part of the 68401 Rotor Brake parameter):

#define EVT_CONTROL_STAND_TOGA1_SWITCH (THIRD_PARTY_EVENT_ID_MIN + 684)

Check in the PMDG SDK header file for the MSFS2024 version to see if that has changed. If they have changed the PMDG header file for the MSFS2024 version, the presets for the MSFS2020 version will not work. You need to define your own presets based on the header file for the aircraft, or use the provided PMDG custom controls directly (there are two FAQ entries explaining how to do this).

John
