This are the (new) Support Forums for FSUIPC and related products.
These forums replace the old support forums which have been running for 20+ years. The old forums contain a wealth of information on all FSUIPC products, and are still available (until the end of the year) for read-only here.
At the moment these new forums are quite empty – I will be updating the FAQ section and copying across the User Contributions from the old forums in the next few months.
Please note that you will need to Register and Login to post for support, and also to download attachments. You can view these forums without registering.

[Solved] MSFS 2020 Unable to Press Set Calibration Buttons
Hello,
After a couple of years away I dumped P3D in favor for MSFS 2020. I have been a long time user of FSUIPC, however I am having a heck of time with setting default MSFS Cessna for FSUIPC to handle axis assignments and calibration. I have confirmed that all MSFS settings are cleared. I have the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo. I have full range of motion registering in FSUIPC on the Axis Assignments Page. I have axis assignment set AXIS_AILERONS_SET and send to SEND TO FS AS NORMAL AXIS. On the Calibation Page I am pressing the SET button for aileron calibration and it won’t register, except for maybe 1 reading. When I do I get the same – or + reading on any side. Trying to send Direct to FSUIPC for Calibration also does not help. In the past I turn full right, press set. Turn full left, press set. Center, press set. I don’t get any of that now. Here is a fresh copy of my .ini file. Any help is appreciated.

I have spent hours now trying to get the calibration to work. I have upgraded to version 7.5.5 and according to Section 4 of the User guide of the Step-by-Step
4. Move the control in either direction and verify that the value is changing up or down as you’d expect. Aileron and
rudder controls increase (more positive numbers) when turned left (=MAX), decrease (more negative numbers)
when turned right (=MIN). Elevator controls increase when pushed (nose down) (=MAX), decrease when pulled
(nose up) (=MIN). All others are pretty logical—more is higher, less is lower. If your axis is changing in the wrong
direction you will need reverse the axis, either in MSFS itself, or here in FSUIPC (see the little ‘Rev’ checkbox?).
FSUIPC simply will not let me click SET. Only one will SET. Either MIN or MAX. Even Center will not accept the SET. Unless I reset and start over. I move the yoke to other positions and all I get is DING when I press SET. I cannot get the slope to change either. It reads crazy numbers
The axis moves correct according to the manual in the far left window. Far left positive number. Far right negative number. Selecting REV does not work at all
First, it is always better to assign using ‘Send direct to FSUIPC calibration’. You should only assign using ‘Send to FS as normal control’ if the direct method doesn’t work (i.e. you need to use a different axis control).
If your axis is registering a full range of movement in the axis assignment panel, then it should also register a full range in the calibration In window. Looking at what your current calibration was:
Posted by: @jbinskyAileron=-16380,-16159,-16159,-16159
That is going to cause strange issues due to the null range settings. Just click ‘Reset’ then ‘Set’ and calibrate correctly ( or initially just accept the default values to see if they work.

I don’t understand this. Can you:
1. Switch to assigning using ‘Send Direct to FSUIPC calibration’.
2. Reset the calibration and try again.
3. If you get the same issue, can you take a short vireo showing the issue and show me that.
Also, rather than pasting contents of your FSUIPC7.ini / FSUIPC7.log files, please attach them.
I do see similar issues when assigning using ‘Send to FS as normal axis’ and the aircraft is cold and dark. If assigning with this method, you need the aircraft to be in a ready-to-fly state to calibrate as it needs to see the axis events come back from the FS to calibrate them. But better to just assign using ‘Send direct to FSUIPC calibration’ for the C172.
The other day I tried to upload the .ini file and the forum would not let me. Perhaps because I was new. When I copied and pasted it looked fine, but then after review I see what a mess it is.
Here is a video showing what I am trying to say it happening. I spent several hours today and nothing works. What am I doing wrong?
