[Solved] MS Store Steam Problem

When MSFS 2020 came out I bought both versions. I reistalled MSFS 2020 a few days ago and now when I install FSUIPC and try to run it I get the following message "Get an app to open this 'steam link." MSFS 2020 does not run. What can I do to correct this?

I presume you re-installed the MS Store version, no?

The installer will first check for a Steam version, and if detected will install for that only. It will detect a steam version if a UserCfg.opt file is found in the folder / location
<UserAccount>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\

If you want to install for the MS Store version, please:

1. Uninstall FSUIPC7 - you can do this by running the Uninstaller, or from the Windows App management panel

2. Delete (or rename) the UserCfg.opt file for your Steam version

3, Re-install FSUIPC7
