[Solved] FSUIPC7 v7.5.6 shutdown immediately after starting

Looks to be crashing when loading presets....

Are you (all) using a myevents.txt file for your own personal presets? If so, can you try temporarily renaming that so it is not loaded? There is an issue if a duplicate preset name is encountered in your myevents.txt file: FSUIPC will try and rename any duplicate preset names found, based upon the vendor and aircraft name from the previous comment line. If there is no previous comment line, then FSUIPC7 will crash. I will correct this (and the preset will be ignored if it cannot be renamed), but if you are using a myevents.txt file, make sure that you have a comment which defines the vendor and aircraft. The comments for presets should be in the following format:
    //<vendor>/<aircraft>/<system>

(#where <system> is optional). Some examples:

    //PMDG/B737-700/Controls

    //Asobo/A320/Lights

    //Cockspur/Mustang C510

All presets following such a comment are grouped together, until the next comment is reached - and it is these comments that allow the presets to be display in the tree display when clicking the 'Find Preset...' button.

If its not that, can you please try the 7.5.6d beta release (available from the News section) to see if you get the same issue with that version.

Indeed , it was the myevents.txt. When i renamed it, FSUIPC loaded correctly.

I always add a prefix e4_ to my custom events, exactly for this reason, to avoid duplication.

I found out 3 PMDG custom events that did not have the e4_ prefix . When i added it it loads ok with all my custom events.

Also having the comment structured did not help.

I have correct that issue in the attached version if you would like to try it.

@fsuipc I confirm it works. I renamed the profiles back and they do not cause any issue now.

Not sure why that would be. Can you please attach your myevents.txt file that causes a CTD and has correct comments so I can check here.

@fsuipc

Here you are. Lines 33,34,35 cause the issue.
