[Solved] FSUIPC7 v7.5.6 shutdown immediately after starting

After upgrading to v7.5.6, when I start FSUIPC it flickers momentarily and immediately closes, no icon in the system tray, no process in task manager. Restarted computer, did not remedy the issue, In looking at the log file it shows the section where it lists the warnings for presets with names that are too long, and nothing after that (this has never been a problem). It shows nothing after that. I ended up reverting back to v7.5.5 and it works fine.

How strange...
Can you please show me / attach the log file as well as your FSUIPC7.ini file, and also please check the windows event viewer and show me the crash report there.

Also please try downloading again and re-installing.

Keep the FSUIPC7.exe for 7.5.5, and if the issue with 7.5.6 persists, rename the 7.5.6 exe and use the 7.5.5 one, i.e. no need to re-install 7.5.5.

I also had what seems to be a similar problem with installing FSUIPC7 ver 7.5.6. Even though the new FSUIPC7.exe dated 27Jan2026 seemed to be installed in the proper folder, FSUIPC7 did not run when starting the sim. So as you suggested, I went back to a saved version of FSUIPC7.exe ver 7.5.5.
