This are the (new) Support Forums for FSUIPC and related products.

These forums replace the old support forums which have been running for 20+ years. The old forums contain a wealth of information on all FSUIPC products, and are still available (until the end of the year) for read-only here.

At the moment these new forums are quite empty – I will be updating the FAQ section and copying across the User Contributions from the old forums in the next few months.

Please note that you will need to Register and Login to post for support, and also to download attachments. You can view these forums without registering.

Support is also available via Discord. Please use the following invite link to join the FSUIPC Discord server:

Sorry, this isn’t working for me.

It would help me if you could let me know what you have tried… Did you read my previous reply and try what I advised? Did you try the ini file I provided?

If I close FSUIPC or open the Axes menu, for example, it goes back to flying at the speed set in my FMC.

If its ok once you open the Axis assignment panel, then it WILL be your flaps assignment calibration, as I have said several times now. Opening the axis assignment menu will prevent any calibrated events being sent on to MSFS. Did you read that post I referenced on PMDG flaps issues (although this was for the 777, the general principal is still valid, although maybe not the actual controls/preset)?

I don’t have the 737-800 for MSFS2024. But, presuming it is using the same SDK values as the 737-700 in MSFS2020, then to control the flaps you should use the following preset (add this to your myevents.txt file, and create this file if you don’t yet have one):

//PMDG/B737 700/Controls
My_PMDG_B737_Flaps_Lever_Set#@ 16384 + 327.68 / near 0 max 100 min s0 l0 5 < if{ 714101 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) quit } l0 15 < if{ 714201 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) quit } l0 35 < if{ 714301 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) quit } l0 50 < if{ 714401 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) quit } l0 64 < if{ 714501 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) quit } l0 75 < if{ 714601 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) quit } l0 85 < if{ 714701 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) quit } l0 98 < if{ 714801 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) quit } 714901 (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE)

Check the PMDG SDK header file first, for the correct value for the EVT_CONTROL_STAND_FLAPS_LEVER control – for the 737 in MSFS2020 its:

#define EVT_CONTROL_STAND_FLAPS_LEVER (THIRD_PARTY_EVENT_ID_MIN + 714)

which is why the Rotor Brake parameter numbers in that preset are 714xxx. You would need to change those values if the control number is different.

If you are still having issues, can you please tell me what you have tried, rather than just saying that it isn’t working, which doesn’t help me much. Also, please attach you log and ini files so that I can check your assignments.

Thanks everyone, the problem is solved. I removed the fsuipc.ini and reset everything and now no more problems.
