[Solved] FSUIPC not listing Lvars at times

Hi John, FSUIPC 7.5.6c, PMDG 737-800, MSFS 2024.

FSUIPC lists the Lvars perfectly on initial load as you can see below there are 2677 of them.

Various times I needed to alter the fsuipc.ini (the lvaroffset section) or read the fsuipc log, so with MSFS still running I closed down FSUIPC, changed the lvaroffset section or read the logs, then re-opened FSUIPC as administrator, but sometimes (not always) it showed 0 (zero) Lvars.  So closed everything down, restarted the pc, reloaded MSFS etc and all was ok again

The issue seems to be closing and restarting fsuipc while msfs is running

Maybe that init3308=13 has something to do with it.

Anyway, not an issue for me as I resolved what I needed, but I thought I should mention.

Regards

Charles

Hi Charles,

Can you first please update to the latest beta, 7.5.6d (available from the News section). This version contains a new WASM version where the WASM CTD on lvar scanning is very unlikely (but not impossible until Asobo fix this issue, which they have finally acknowledged - I haven't been able to get the WASM to CTD with this version, but YMMV).

but sometimes (not always) it showed 0 (zero) Lvars.

If this happens in the latest beta, please exit FSUIPC7 and show me / attach your FSUIPC7.log file, preferably with WAPI debug logging enabled (Log->WAPI->Debug).

Regards,

John
