This are the (new) Support Forums for FSUIPC and related products.

These forums replace the old support forums which have been running for 20+ years. The old forums contain a wealth of information on all FSUIPC products, and are still available (until the end of the year) for read-only here.

At the moment these new forums are quite empty – I will be updating the FAQ section and copying across the User Contributions from the old forums in the next few months.

Please note that you will need to Register and Login to post for support, and also to download attachments. You can view these forums without registering.

Hello,

I’m developing a utility in Delphi to exchange data with the MSFS 2024 aircraft instrument panel using FSUIPC7 as a gateway.

I’ve found the offsets for retrieving or writing the following data using FSUIPC_Read or FSUIPC_Read: COM1, COM2, NAV1, NAV2, OBS1, OBS2, ADF1, ADF2, XPDR (sqwak code).

However, I haven’t found the offsets for XPDRMODE (sqwak mode: ON, OFF, STDBY, ALT) and XPDRIDENT (sqwak IDENT mode). Are these elements accessible via FSUIPC7?

Best regards,

Thierry

Isn’t the XPDRIDENT the transponder code? This is held in offset 0x0354.

There is also the TRANSPONDER STATE offset at 0x0B46  with values 0 = Off, 1 = Standby, 2 = Test, 3 = On, 4 = Alt, 5 = Ground

Is that what you are looking for?

Regards,

John

Note however that those offsets may now work with all aircraft. For example, in the Horizon 787, the transponder mode is held in the lvar XMLVAR_Transponder_Mode – see https://forum.simflight.com/topic/98364-horizon-787-transponder-setting/#comment-592345.
