This are the (new) Support Forums for FSUIPC and related products.
These forums replace the old support forums which have been running for 20+ years. The old forums contain a wealth of information on all FSUIPC products, and are still available (until the end of the year) for read-only here.
At the moment these new forums are quite empty – I will be updating the FAQ section and copying across the User Contributions from the old forums in the next few months.
Please note that you will need to Register and Login to post for support, and also to download attachments. You can view these forums without registering.

[Solved] Cannot have the lua scripts to work – please help
I created a file called test.lua in FSUIPC.exe installation folder in which in put ipc.log(“LUA OK”)
In the FSUIPC7.ini I added the [auto] section in which I set 1=test.lua
I start the msfs2024
I start FSUIPC7.exe with ADMIN rights and here is my log with no reference to lua:

This is not correct, and should be:
[Auto] 1=Lua test
Please see the documentation – page 40 of the Advanced User guide.
Note also that the lua script will not be started until you have an aircraft loaded and ready-to-fly, and the lvars have been received and are available. In the log you posted, you never even loaded an aircraft.

You should noi run FSUIPC7 with Admin privileges unless you have a good reason to do so, such as if running an FSUIPC client application that requires elevated privileges.

That log shows that you are using an unregistered version of FSUIPC7:

Sorry but I missed this in the first log you posted.
Lua functionality is only available in the licensed version of FSUIPC. There is a trial license available on the FSUIPC7 product page if you want to try the licensed version.
