This are the (new) Support Forums for FSUIPC and related products.

These forums replace the old support forums which have been running for 20+ years. The old forums contain a wealth of information on all FSUIPC products, and are still available (until the end of the year) for read-only here.

At the moment these new forums are quite empty – I will be updating the FAQ section and copying across the User Contributions from the old forums in the next few months.

Please note that you will need to Register and Login to post for support, and also to download attachments. You can view these forums without registering.

Support is also available via Discord. Please use the following invite link to join the FSUIPC Discord server:

Hi John:

My work week just started so I don’t have much time to sim at the moment.  I’ll follow-up as soon as I can.  I appreciate the support!

Is this what need?

No. I need to see you log file, as well as your ini, and with appropriate logging set.

it worked.  But the next time I loaded the sim, nothing.

As I said, there are no issues with the lua. Not sure what you are doing – I really need to see the log file for any idea on what is happening.

Your log file shows nothing as the required logging was not set.

your ini files shows that you have assigned a button to LuaSet with the pause script (to flag 0). This is incorrect – to start the script, assign it to just Lua (via the UI):

2=80,24,L1:S,0 -{tab+P: Press=LuaSet SetPauseMSFS&P3D (Flag 0) }-

@fsuipc

Howdy:

I guess I don’t know what I’m doing.

I placed the lua script into my FSUIPC folder.

I opened the UI.

I selected “Assignments: tab.

I went to “Key Assignments”.

I selected “tab+p” and selected “LuaSet SetPauseMSFS&P3D”.

I selected “OK”.

I load into the MSFS2020.

I press tab+p on my keyboard nothing happens.

I have NOT made any changes to the lua once downloaded.

@dreamflight767

In the above you have this line: I selected “tab+p” and selected “LuaSet SetPauseMSFS&P3D”.

As pointed out above by John, the mistake is LuaSet should just be Lua.

When making key or button assignments to a script, there are many options in the FSUIPC7 assignment window dropdown list such as Lua, LuaSet, LuaKill, LuaToggle, etc.

In this case with SetPauseMSFS&P3D you need to be careful to just select Lua SetPauseMSFS&P3D in the dropdown window.
