[Solved] FSUIPC6/P3Dv5 Lua script not showing

I have just installed FSUIPC6 to bind the joystick trigger with the sound of gunfire withing P3Dv5. The Button and switches dropdown list isn't showing any Lua scripts and the FSUIPC log doesn't show any evidence that the script has been detected. What am I doing wrong, please?

Lua scripts must go in your FSUIPC6 installation folder, or in the folder set by the LuaPath ini parameter if that is set, and must have the extension '.lua'. All lua files detected will be added to the [LuaFiles] section of your FSUIPC6.ini file (NEVER modify this section manually!) and will be available for assignments. If you cannot see your lua files in the [LuaFiles] section and they are not available for assignment, they are either in the wrong place or have the wrong externsion.

I've just encountered the same problem.

Only after adding

[LuaFiles]
LuaPath=DriveLetter:\Prepar3D v6\modules\

to FSUIPC6.ini,

1=LuaFileName1
2=LuaFileName2

are added automatically below the LuaPath= line.

thank you.

I've just encountered the same problem.

Only after adding

[LuaFiles]
LuaPath=DriveLetter:\Prepar3D v6\modules\

to FSUIPC6.ini,

1=LuaFileName1
2=LuaFileName2

are added automatically below the LuaPath= line.

Then that is because 'DriveLetter:\Prepar3D v6\modules\' is not your FSUIPC6 installation folder. If you are using any other folder than the FSUIPC6 installation folder for your lua files then you need to set the LuaPath in parameter.
