There were a large amount of spam posts to the forum last night and this morning, causing an issue with the email handling on this webserver.
I have removed/deleted all spam posts and have banned all user accounts that have sent these spam messages.
Unfortunately, the number of emails sent due to this spamming activity has temporarily blocked all emails from being sent from the support forum. This means that, for the time being:
- you will not get any email notifications through to topics you are following
- newly registered users will not receive an email with a link for them to set the account password
I am currently in the process of increasing the spam protection in the support forums. I will also look into changing the SMTP server I am using to send emails do that such issues will not block the emails being sent if this occurs again.
Please note that if you have recently registered but have not received an email to set your password, you will have to do this manually by using the ‘Lost your password?’ link on the login page. However, this will not work correctly until the email functionality has been restored, hopefully later today or tomorrow (4th December 2025). All in-active accounts have now been deleted. Please re-register once these issues have been fixed.

Later: I have now had to delete all in-active accounts, i.e. those that have not yet set a password. Sorry about this, but there were more than a hundred accounts registered last night and I believe most of these were from spammers.
You will need to re-register if you have tried to registered but have not yet set your password (i.e. had an in-active account).
I may have to start moderating user’ registration if this issue persists.
I have also banned quite a few email addresses from spammers. However, I may have inadvertently banned one or two valid user registrations. If you have issues with registration and believe this is the case, you can DM me on Discord and I will unban you.

Update 04/12/2025: I am still getting lots of spam and spammer registrations, but this seems to be under control now and should not cause any more issues (for the time being….!).
