Note also that you can run two copies of WideClient by setting the ClassInstance  WideClient ini parameter, See the WideFS Technical document for details.

But you shouldn't need to run two copies.

I try some things - but I don't find the right way.

On my second PC now I have 2 instance of WideFS with the correct buttons.

When I press i.e. Button 1 on instance 2 (P65,1) the function from P64,0 will be executed.

Please can check was I make wrong.

Regards

Bernd

But why? As I said, you do NOT need two instances of WideClient running.

Yes, of course. It is a completely separate instance, and so the button numbers will start from 64,0.

As I keep saying, and as documented, button 32 should be recognised as joystick 65 button 0. Did you try this?
And you should really be using whatever is detected by FSUIPC on the server PC when a virtual button on the client is pressed. Did you try this?

Unfortunately I am not in a position to test this at the moment, as I am currently moving and re-assembling my 2nd PC, and my 3rd one died  a few weeks ago. I will check the use of buttons > 32 via WideFS when I am able, but it should work as documented, with buttons above the 32 button limit being on joystick 65, i.e.initial 32 buttons are numbered 0-31 on joystick 64, buttons 33-64 numbered as buttons 0-31 on joystick 65, etc

I will investigate when I have time, but for now can you please stop using the second instance of WideClient, use more than 32 buttons on one instance of WideClient, and then show me your logs and ini files from this.

I would like to see if the buttons > 32 are recognised in the FSUIPC log file and if so how. According to the documentation, they should be recognised on virtual joystick 65.
