FSUIPC6.2.2 / P3DV4 - SimConnect Error
Hi guys,
i am running P3DV4 alongs years with FSUIPC5.
Now i was update to registered FFSUIPC6.2.2.
After Setup and Registration there will come an error-message during FS-Start and FSUIPC is not available.
FSUIPC6.log:
782 SimConnect_Open succeeded: waiting to check version okay
782 Opened separate AI Traffic client okay
11313 Exception 5 "VERSION_MISMATCH", Ref 1, Version 4.0: Open: SimConnect Version incorrect!
11313 Cannot operate: something wrong with SimConnect library
11329 === QUIT notified! Saving "Previous Flight" ...
28500 ### The user object is 'Boeing 777'
28500 ### Mode: FREEZE_LATLON on
29000 ### Mode: PAUSE on

If i turned back to FSUIPC5 all is fine again...

What version of P3Dv4 are you using? FSUIPC6 is only compatible with the latest/last version of P3Dv4, and not older versions.
Try updating your P3D v4 version to the latest available.

On your Homepage is FSUIPC6 defined for P3DV4 but not for the latest only...
I was updated FSUIPC because some Offsets for Project Magenta dont work.
Llike switch QNH to BARO...(04F4 62,63)
And the ECAM Pages, like ELEC,FUEL,HYD,DOORS dont show any values.
Is it normal that this wont work with FSUIPC5?

On the SimMarket page it does say:
Requirements
P3Dv4 (v4.3 and later) and/or P3Dv5 (all versions) and or P3Dv6 (all versions)
Which is misleading and should say 4.5 and later. And you are correct and it should be clearer. I will update to make this more obvious.
But its also strange that the error message says its version 4, and not 4.4:

But why not just update to 4.5?

I have no idea, sorry - you need support from Project Magenta for this.

Actually I am not sure which version of the SimConnect SDK if the latest version of FSUIPC6 is compiled against. I had a severe crash when updating windows last year and lost my development environment, and now only have the latest SDK for SimConnect v4 installed. But it is strange that the version mismatch error is saying that it is 4.0 - are you sure your installed P3D client is 4.4?
I have found a copy of the 4.3 SDK, and the attached version of FSUIPC6 is compiled with this, so if you are really using v4.4 this one should work. If you get the same error, try updating your P3D v4.4 client.
