This are the (new) Support Forums for FSUIPC and related products.

These forums replace the old support forums which have been running for 20+ years. The old forums contain a wealth of information on all FSUIPC products, and are still available (until the end of the year) for read-only here.

At the moment these new forums are quite empty – I will be updating the FAQ section and copying across the User Contributions from the old forums in the next few months.

Please note that you will need to Register and Login to post for support, and also to download attachments. You can view these forums without registering.

Support is also available via Discord. Please use the following invite link to join the FSUIPC Discord server:

the Lua file is not working so somewhere in the following file I have made an error

What is the error? Have you checked the log for any errors? Is the lua script running? Is your axis assigned to offset 0x66D4? Have you tried debugging this  – you can add some ipc.log statements to determine what is happening, or use the provided lua debugging facilities.

Did you check if you need to send both the control AND set the lvar?

And as I said, it is always going to be a fiddle if using increment/decrement controls on an axis. Far better to use them on rotary buttons. But you should be able to get it working on an axis to some degree, but certainly not perfectly. You need to use logging/debugging to work out what the script is doing and why it is not working, and check the log file for any errors.
